Search for Missing Man in the Whites Comes Up Empty

Authorities announced Tuesday they were scaling back a search for a missing New Jersey man, 63-year-old Gregory Auriemma, after weeks of effort had turned up no clues. The Dry River area, where family members thought Auriemma might have gone to fish, was damaged in Hurricane Irene five years ago, leaving the trails there steep and dangerous.
