1. Under a tree or other tall feature.

2. Exposed on a high place.

3. On wet, marshy soil.

4. In the open.

LIGHTNING-SAFE PLACE:

Crouch down in a stand of trees or shrubs of similar height and get into the lightning-safe position (see photo).
