"Zombie Coyotes" Spotted In Chicago Suburbs

Wildlife biologists for the Forest Preserves of Cook County say that they’ve been fielding reports of creepy-looking coyotes in the suburbs—and the animals, with fur loss and skin problems, are likely suffering from a disease called sarcoptic mange. Though it’s rarely life-threatening, it is contagious, and can spread to household pets.
