Yosemite's Mountain Roads Still Buried Under Snow
Usually, high-elevation roads across the Sierra are open by now. Not this year.

Crews remain hard at work into June clearing the Sierra’s mountain roads after last winter’s massive snowfall, delaying the opening of several passes. Yosemite’s Highway 120 is still smothered by 20 feet of snow (50 feet in some places), and Ebbetts Pass to the north is also still closed. Sonora Pass and the Minaret Summit near Mammoth Mountain have been cleared.
