LA Wildfires Make for Hazy Skies in Seattle
Smoke from this week's Southern California wildfires is riding a high-pressure system to the Northwest.

Even from two states away, Seattleites can see (and smell) the effects of the wildfires devastating Southern California this week. A high-pressure system across the West Coast is conducting smoke from the blazes into the Puget Sound region (the path is visible on satellite images), making for hazy skies and brilliant sunsets.
