Wildfire Closes Flagstaff-Area Trails
A lightning-sparked blaze in Arizona's Kendrick Mountain Wilderness shuts down popular hiking routes and part of the highway.

The spreading Boundary Fire forced closures of the Pumpkin, Kendrick Mountain, Bull Basin, and 4th Connector Trails in the Kendrick Mountain Wilderness, part of the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests, plus a stretch of Highway 180. Crews continue to fight the wind-driven wildfire, which started June 1 with a lightning strike. For updates, follow @KaibabNF and @CoconinoNF.
