It’s going to be a warm one in the city, so head to the hills this weekend for cooler hiking temps. For a day trip just 45 minutes from Denver, escape to Evergreen to hike amongst the pines and rock formations of the Three Sisters area. You can choose your own adventure here from mellow jaunts to full-day treks.
Weekenders should head to the high country for summer temps and clear skies through Sunday. This is the perfect time to hit trails around the Aspen area before the crowds rush in during midsummer.
The wildflowers are just beginning to show off their colors in the mountains, so keep your eyes peeled for coral-colored paintbrush and deep-purple blazing stars along the trail. Summertime has arrived at the higher elevations–get out there and enjoy it!
