Health officials detected West Nile Virus in mosquitos from Auburn and Worcester last week, the state Department of Public Health announced. No human cases have been reported yet, but officials warned locals to avoid bites by using effective insect repellent, wearing long pants and sleeves, and avoiding being outdoors at dawn and dusk if possible.
