Watch Out in the Whites, Says Forest Service
A recent storm felled trees, blocked roads, and flooded streams in the White Mountain National Forest.

Officials with the White Mountain National Forest warned hikers to be extra-careful this week after a powerful storm created multiple hazards on area roads and trails. Among their concerns: impassable roads, weakened tree limbs, and dangerous high water in rivers and streams.
