Washington Local Leaves $1 Million to National Parks

Washington’s three biggest national parks, North Cascades, Mt. Rainier, and Olympic, are $1 million richer thanks to a generous bequest. Washington-born Bette Wallace left the parks the money in her will; they’re planning on using it to upgrade the parks’ dispatch system.
