High Points: Ebright Azimuth, Delaware
True highpointers will find this peak.
Delaware is located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. Most of Delaware is very flat — the highest point in the state, Ebright Azimuth, is only 448 feet. However, rolling hills in the Piedmont Plateau cover the northern edges of the state.
A long sand beach dotted with bays, tidal creeks and marshes stretches along the state’s shoreline from the border with Maryland north to the mouth of Delaware Bay.
