Street Tree Program Kicks Off at Gowanus Canal

Last week, the Gowanus Tree Network program kicked off in Brooklyn. The initiative, part of The Nature Conservancy and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy, organizes neighborhood volunteers to mulch, water, and otherwise care for the crucial urban trees along Gowanus Canal.
