Visitation at New York State Parks Rises to 71.5 Million

Visitation to New York’s state parks rose to 71.5 million in 2017, an increase of 950,000 over 2016; it’s the seventh straight year the parks have reported growth. The system is in the middle of the NY Parks 2020 initiative, a collection of infrastructure, trail, and campground improvements.
