Sonoma County Plans the Future of Open Space

Sonoma County’s Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District released a draft report on its conservation priorities from now until 2031, stressing the preservation of agricultural lands, riparian areas, and open spaces that could become new parks. The group also aims to get conservation easements to protect waterways on agricultural properties and develop the new Mark West Regional Park near Santa Rosa.
