Big Sur’s Soberanes Canyon Trail will once again welcome hikers starting on Saturday–at least, 1.25 miles of it will. The popular hiking path has been closed since a 2016 wildfire caused significant damage. The Rocky Ridge loop section of the trail is still closed, and trail crews plan to re-route it off the ridgeline itself.
