Washington’s national parks haven’t escaped the effects of last week’s government shutdown. At Olympic, emergency and rescue services will be limited, and the park will not maintain restrooms, facilities, or public information; park roads and trails will remain open. Mt. Rainier will keep some areas open, but warned that access could change without advance notice. The National Park Service will not be updating its websites or social media feeds, either.
