Shedd Aquarium Introduces New Kayaking Program
The paddling trips will incorporate plant surveys and a stop at the new River Island.

Shedd Aquarium will roll out a Kayak for Conservation program on the Chicago River ecosystem starting July 12; the paddling trips will feature biological surveys, litter pickup, invasive species removal, and a visit to the new River Island, a manmade river habitat for plants and local wildlife.
