King County Search and Rescue has a message for hikers looking to tackle Cascade trails: Don’t go without proper preparation. After encountering too many travelers attempting to hike into remote, snow-filled areas dressed in cotton clothing and low-cut shoes, authorities reminded KOMO News about the importance of planning and trip prep.
