Officials successfully rescued a 15-year-old boy who got lost while attempting a solo hike of Sedona-area Capitol Butte on January 11. The boy called 911 on January 10, but weather and searchers’ difficulty locating him forced him to spend the night on the mountain before a helicopter rescue was possible.
