Recent Grad Rescued After Tumbling over Angel Falls
Search & Rescue crews pulled a young man to safety after he slipped and was swept over two waterfalls in the Bass Lake area.

A recent graduate, Matthew Salah, got very lucky this week after he slipped into Angel Falls while taking a photo on a hiking trip. Salah went over two cascades before a dead tree stopped his descent; he was able to pull himself out of the river, but was injured enough to need rescue from Madera County SAR.
