Jessica Alison, from Kennesaw, GA picked a rainy week to do the Annapurna Base Camp trek. She was at Machhapuchhre Base Camp when the clouds cleared for about ten minutes to reveal the sun setting beautifully behind Annapurna.

To get this shot, Joshua Lais lay on top of ice-covered rocks holding his camera near the surface of Lake Superior. “The morning temps were 22 degrees below zero. The sheet of ice formed overnight and was slowly blowing into the rocks and breaking up.”
James Garner of Palm Springs, CA took this photo on the last morning of his trip on the High Sierra Trail. We agree when he says “Loved the way the colors reflected off the lake.”
