Now is a good time to remember that advice about never putting your hands or feet somewhere you can’t see them: Elbert County officials warned residents last week about an uptick in rattlesnake sightings–as well as in people heading to the hospital with rattlesnake bites. The notice reminded people to be wary around sunny boulders, trails, and open brush, as well as on sidewalks in more urban areas.
