Public Transit System from Pasadena to San Gabriels Starts April 7

The pilot program will run a weekend shuttle service through September.

Car-less hikers, take note: Starting April 7, hikers can access the San Gabriel Mountains from Pasadena via a new public transit system. The new bus will pick up from Pasadena’s light rail Memorial Park Station and drop off at the Sam Merrill Trailhead in the Angeles National Forest. The pilot program will operate on weekends through September 30, 7 am to 5 pm.
