Polar Express Comes to Mt. Rainier Railroad

Santa and cookies add seasonal fun to the scenic train ride.

The Mt. Rainier Railroad gets festive through the end of December with the addition of its Polar Express steam engine trip. The seasonal ride features a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and cookies, and a reading of the classic Chris Van Allsburg book. Mt. Rainier Railroad runs its scenic train trips from Elbe, Washington, through the evergreen forest and across the Upper Nisqually River.
