The summit of the Fourteener Mt. Bierstadt is a happening place: According to the Forest Service, an average of 28 people at a time can be found there on the weekends. USFS officials are now in the early stages of considering measures to alleviate the crowding, including instituting a permit system and starting an environmental analysis.
