NPS Fee Hikes Could Equal $70 To Visit Rainier
The National Park Service is considering a fee hike in more than a dozen of the system's most popular parks.

To reduce a huge backlog of maintenance projects at national parks all over the country, the NPS is throwing around the idea of a large fee increase—which would translate to Rainier’s entrance fee jumping from $25 per vehicle to $70.
