New Hampshire’s iconic Old Man of the Mountain, a face-shaped rock formation at Franconia Notch, crumbled away after an early May storm 15 years ago. Many residents still travel to the area to pay their respects, and the Profiler Plaza site uses steel pillars and interpretive signs to commemorate the Old Man.
