Report: Outdoor Recreation in New Hampshire Generates $8.7 billion

According to the Outdoor Industry Association, every year New Hampshire generates $8.7 billion in consumer spending and $528 million in tax revenue.

A new report by the Boulder, Colorado–based Outdoor Industry Association concludes that in New Hampshire, the outdoors is big business. In fact, significantly more jobs depend on the outdoor sector than the tech sector. And New Hampshire comes out on top in almost every category when compared to other New England states.
