What to do when a popular mountain resort in a state park might be sold to a private buyer? That’s the question on some residents’ minds as Mount Sunapee, the year-round adventure resort located in New Hampshire’s Mount Sunapee State Park, went up for sale recently. Now it looks as though it will be purchased by Colorado-based Vail Resorts in a deal expected to be finalized later this summer. Some are concerned the state park will become an entertainment entity for a private resort, while others are optimistic about the growth the sale might bring.
