After safely crossing the 101 Freeway along the Conejo Grade—and making it across Highway 23 and the 118 Freeway, too—a big cat named P-55 is now roaming the Santa Susana Mountains. Researchers have documented 17 mountain lion deaths on Southern California roadways since 2002.
