Moose on the loose! A Jamestown woman, her friend, and her dog sustained minor injuries when a moose with two calves entered her backyard and attacked her in early June. Such incidents are rare, but moose have been known to act defensively around dogs. Wildlife officials reminded people who live in and visit the mountains to give moose a wide berth.
