Search for Missing Mt. Rainier Skier Comes Up Empty

Mt. Rainier’s Search & Rescue team has pulled back its search for a 30-year-old skier thought to have broken through a snow bridge into Pebble Creek on the way from Camp Muir to Paradise on Monday. The skier’s partner searched for him for two hours with an avalanche probe before alerting rangers, who then canvassed the area by ground and air.
