Meteorite Not to Blame for New Hampshire Wildfire, Say Experts

Last week, New Hampshire fire officials put to rest a rumor that last fall’s Dilly Creek Fire in the White Mountains was sparked by a meteorite. Instead, they say, humans started the fire. About 95 percent of the state’s wildfires can be traced back to people.
