State to Citizens: Help Us Count Turkeys

How many turkeys live in Massachusetts? State biologists want to find out–and they need your help. The state is asking citizens to record turkey sightings (online or through the mail) now through August 31; the data will be used to assess the population’s growth and predict fall hunting details.
