Sajean Geer, 71, ventured into Olympic National Park near Obstruction Point last week intending to spread her late husband’s ashes. But she ended up lost in the wilderness, enduring six days before rescuers found her and her dog, Yoda. This week, Geer shared the details of her survival story with The Seattle Times, including how she built a shelter, ate ants and foraged currants, and how her dog fared during the ordeal.
