A bill currently before the State Senate (it passed the House unanimously) would create a new license plate to raise funds for beekeeping education and programs. The bee license plate, which would cost an additional $60, would help support a beekeeping program for state prisons and start junior beekeeping clubs–all of which would boost the health of agriculture systems and wildlife.
