Hikers hoping to regain access to the Beachwood Drive trailhead to the famed Hollywood sign have to wait a bit longer. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Feffer decided not to take legal steps to reopen the Beachwood gate, but hiking groups can still file a separate lawsuit. The city closed access at Beachwood Drive earlier this year because of crowding and safety concerns from a nearby commercial stable.
