New Leash Restrictions Proposed for Concord Dogs

Free-range pooches will become a thing of the past at popular dog-walking site Estabrook Woods if area managers decide to implement a new leash law, reports The Boston Globe. Several other landowners of the private wooded preserve have already enacted the rules, and the town of Concord is considering joining them for its slice of the property. But some dog owners won’t leash without a fight: One resident’s anti-leash petition has already garnered 600 signatures.
