The Coalition to Save Jackson Park, a South Side community group, filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Chicago Park District last week. The group seeks documents relating to the upcoming Obama Center, including the decision to offer public park lands to private developers and the environmental impact of building the center on contaminated soil.
