Landowner Shuts Down Classic New Hampshire Sled Dog Race

This year's Lake Chocorua race will be the last after a private landowner announced the closure of part of the course.

After more than 90 years, a classic sled dog race starting at New Hampshire’s Lake Chocorua will likely end after this winter, the New England Sled Dog Club confirmed. A private landowner has decided to close a key 11-mile stretch of the course.
