Changes at the International Olympic Committee mean LA will very likely host the Games in 2028.

After the International Olympic Committee announced the unusual plan to award two Summer Games at the same time last Tuesday, insiders predicted that Los Angeles will very likely be named host for the 2028 games. Several other leading contenders have dropped out of consideration, leaving LA and Paris as the presumptive winners when the IOC makes its official decision this September.
