Indiana Dunes Gains 17 Acres

A land trust donated four parcels adjacent to park boundaries.

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore just got a little bigger: The Shirley Heinze Land Trust donated four parcels of land adding up to 17 acres to the park. The land will reconnect some fragmented ecosystems and provide a buffer for the public park.
