Hunter Mountain to Add New Ski Trails, High-Speed Lift
The Hudson Valley resort will debut five new runs in time for next season.

Hunter Mountain will begin building five new ski trails this spring–four intermediate and one beginner–all of which are scheduled to open for next winter. The new runs will increase the resort’s acreage by 25 to 30 percent. Also part of the $9 million project: a high-speed chairlift on the mountain’s north slope.
