Hiker Dies in Fall on Sauk Mountain

A 69-year-old woman, Karen Vaden, slipped and fell 70 feet last Tuesday while hiking Sauk Mountain in Washington’s North Cascades. She was declared dead of multiple blunt force injuries a day later by Skagit County officials.
