Details: Join Friends of the Dedham Heritage Rail Trail for a group bike ride! We will meet at Martini Memorial Shell Park on Truman Parkway.
Enjoy this beautiful 15 mile round trip mostly flat leisure ride with us to the Pope John Paul II Park & Boston HarborWalk.
We will bike through Hyde Park, Milton, Mattapan, and Dorchester and stopping along the way!
Meet up begins at 1:00pm ride begins at 1:30pm.
Can’t meet this day? We will have multiple group rides all month, let us know if a certain date works better for you!
This Trail is almost entirely a paved dedicated bike path with some road crossings. We will need a few point people to help at crossings and at the 1/2 mile of road/sidewalk riding.
Porta Potties available at Pope John Paul II Park during 20 minute break.
The Neponset River Greenway entrance starts at the intersection of Truman Parkway and Neponset Valley Parkway in Hyde Park, 1/2 mile from Readville Station.
