Glacier National Park: Logging Lake to Grace Lake
Travel to two quiet backcountry lakes rimmed by the rugged Livingston Range on this 24.8-mile hike in Glacier National Park.

From the trailhead in Logging Creek Campground, hike northeast through dense forest on Logging Lake Trail. The path parallels Logging Creek as it winds 4.4 miles to the southern tip of Logging Lake. Skirt a campsite with views of the lake and surrounding peaks, and hike northeast around the north shore of Logging Lake. At mile 4.9, pass a side trail on the right that leads to a patrol cabin on the banks of the lake—watch for deer grazing near the trail. Five miles later, pass another campsite on the right. Continue northeast for the final 2.9 miles to Grace Lake, a quiet mountain lake surrounded by the Livingston Range. Set up camp, or retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
