Backers of a plan to reintroduce the state fish to the Poudre River team up with the Fort Collins brewery and get a special-edition brew.

Proponents of an ambitious plan to reintroduce the greenback cutthroat trout to the Poudre River have teamed up with Fort Collins’s Odell Brewing Co; the brewery will promote the cause and introduce the Cold Water 1 brew for the occasion. The 15-year plan involves removing non-native fish and building barriers in waterways to keep them from competing with the threatened species.
