Most of Frye Fire Area Closed for Flood Risk

Trails and campgrounds on Mt. Graham will remain shuttered for public safety.

The Frye Fire burned 48,443 acres in the Coronado National Forest this June and July, leaving the landscape in the Mt. Graham area very prone to flash flooding. As a precaution, trails, visitor centers, and campgrounds in the burn zone will remain closed while the risk of monsoon-season flooding is elevated.
