Franconia Notch Trail Closed for Repairs
Part of the popular New Hampshire state park's trail system will be off-limits through the end of July.

Looking to visit Lonesome Lake or Lonesome Hut at Franconia Notch State Park this summer? You’ll have to detour around the Lonesome Lake Trail until July 28, while the Appalachian Mountain Club is busy rebuilding the path. Luckily, hikers can get around the closure via a .3-mile detour.
