First Tahoe Ski Area Opens for Season

Tune up your gear, California skiers and snowboarders: This week, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe became the first of the Tahoe ski resorts to open up for this winter season. Early forecasts predict a normal snow year in the Sierra–which should translate to plenty of skiing even if it doesn’t touch the epic snow totals of winter 2016-17.
